Pinoy Chicken Pasta



Panglasang Pinoy likes a lot of Pasta recipes so here is the recipe how to make Chicken Spaghetti Flipino style.

Ingredients

1lb spaghetti cooked in the way that package says

1lb chicken, cleaned

8 ounces tomato sauce

4 ounces diced tomatoes

2 onion, sliced

2. tablespoons basil leaves that are chopped

1 tablespoon parsley

2 tablespoon adobo sauce (add chili if you like your Chicken Spaghetti spicy)

4 cups of water

1 cup of Cheese

3 teaspoon of sugar

2 tablespoons canola oil

Cooking method

1. Boil the water in cooking pot.

2. Add chicken and simmer for 25 minutes

3. Remove chicken. Let it cool down for a while.. Throw the bones and shred the chicken.

4. Heat canola oil in a pan.

5. Sauté chicken with onion

6. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and adobo sauce. Let boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.

7. Add basil leaves, parsley, sugar and salt and pepper if wanted

8. Serve the spaghetti to plates and add cheese shredded cheese on the top.

Chicken Pochero

Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken, cut into serving pieces

1/2 piece cabbage, quartered

1 bunch Bok choy (pechay)

1 bundle long green beans, cleaned and ends trimmed

1 medium sized potato, cubed

2 large plantain(saba) banana or 1 large plantain banana, sliced

 3 pieces chorizo (or Chinese sausage), sliced thinly

1 large tomato, diced

1 medium sized onion, diced

2 tbsp whole pepper corn

2 tbsp fish sauce

1 tsp garlic

1 small can tomato sauce

1 cup garbanzos

 Cooking Method

1. Heat oil in the pot and fry the banana until color turns golden brown. Once done, set the bananas aside

2. Put in the chorizo in the same pot and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes then set aside

3. Sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato

4. Add the Chicken and cook for 5 minutes

5. Add the fish sauce, tomato sauce, and whole pepper corn and mix well

6. Add the water and simmer until meat is tender

7. Put-in the fried chorizo, fried banana, potato, and garbanzos and simmer for 7 minutes

8. Add the cabbage, long green beans and simmer for 5 minutes

9. Add the bok choy and turn off the heat. Cover the pot for 5 minutes to cook the bokchoy

10. Serve hot and Enjoy this Panglasang Pinoy recipe :)

Beef Pochero recipe

Ingredients of Beef Pochero

2 lbs beef short ribs or cubed sirloin
1/2 medium cabbage, quartered
1 bunch Bok choy (pechay)
1 bundle long green beans (about 15 pieces)
1 medium sized potato, cubed
2 large plantains(saba banana), sliced
3 pieces chorizo, sliced thinly
1 large tomato, diced
1 medium sized onion, diced
2 tbsp whole pepper corn
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp garlic
1 small can tomato sauce
1 cup garbanzos


Cooking Procedure
1. Heat oil in the pot and fry the banana until color turns golden brown. Once done, set the bananas aside

2.Put in the chorizo in the same pot and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes then set aside

3.Sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato

4. Add the beef and cook for 5 minutes

5.Add the fish sauce, tomato sauce, and whole pepper corn and mix well

6. Add the water and simmer until meat is tender (about 35 minutes in pressure cooker)

7. Put-in the fried chorizo, fried banana, potato, and garbanzos and simmer for 7 minutes

8. Add the cabbage, long green beans and simmer for 5 minutes

9. Add the bok choy and turn off the heat. Cover the pot for 5 minutes to cook the bokchoy.

10. Serve hot and Enjoy this Panglasang Pinoy recipe :)
